Thermostatic mixing valves

Thermostatic mixing valves are used in domestic hot water installations. The water in the tanks should be heated to at least 60°C to prevent the growth of Legionella bacteria. However, water heated to such a temperature poses a risk of scalding. To prevent this from happening and to stabilize the temperature parameter of domestic water - thermostatic valves are used, which mix hot water from the reservoir with cold water. Mixed water at the temperaturę, set on the valve knob, is directed to the receiver.
